Captain Lee Clarke AFRIN

Captain Lee Clarke AFRIN is the Managing Director of Isle of Man Maritime, leading the organisation’s mission to promote, support and grow the Isle of Man as a globally recognised maritime centre of excellence. With over 20 years of experience spanning seagoing operations, maritime education, leadership and digital innovation, he brings extensive expertise from across the international maritime sector.

A recognised maritime leader and speaker, Captain Clarke is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Shipwrights, a Craft Owning Freeman of the Company of Watermen and Lightermen of the River Thames, and a Member of the Honourable Company of Master Mariners. He is also a Trustee of The Seafarers’ Charity and Chair of the King George’s Fund for Sailors (Isle of Man).

Passionate about the future of maritime, Captain Clarke advocates for the advancement of maritime skills, digital transformation, sustainability and collaboration. Through his leadership at Isle of Man Maritime and his wider industry roles, he continues to strengthen the Isle of Man’s position as a leading international maritime cluster while supporting seafarers and inspiring the next generation of maritime professionals.
