Phil Waterhouse

After a full career in the Royal Navy, Phil Waterhouse joined the newly formed APCL Group in October 2023 as Group Corporate Affairs Director;
APCL deliver ship building, ship repair and ship maintenance across the UK and the world.
Leaving the Royal Navy as a Commodore, his wide ranging experience is anchored in logistics but also includes strategic and operational leadership, organizational transformation, programme delivery, training and people management, corporate governance and assurance and, most recently, extensive delivery of naval and maritime engagement and enterprise on a regional, national and international basis. Phil is a Fellow of the Institute of Logistics and Transport, a Director of Mersey Maritime, a Younger Brother of Hull Trinity House and President of Hull4Heroes. In addition to Chairing MMMT he has a number of further trusteeships and senior charitable roles including veteran care, children’s education and RN Rugby League all of which he is passionate about.
